Google [1] may not have gotten everything that it wanted in the FCC decision [2] on the 700 Mhz auction [3] set for January 2008, but that doesn't mean that the search-engine giant is ready to sit out on the sidelines. CEO Eric Schmidt says that the company is likely to be an active participant in the auction. The goal? Creating a platform that encompasses the Internet across all delivery methods. Stay tuned.
